Let’s look at the reasons that you need Personal Development. First of all, let’s look at the reason that you are in the job or performing the service that you are performing now. One of the primary reasons you’re doing what you’re doing is to solve the customer problems and in order to solve customer problems, what you need is to have the knowledge and the skills that allow you to solve those customer problems.

But if you do nothing in terms of improving or upgrading those skills, it means that as you faced with new challenges, you will not have the knowledge or skills to perform. You will not have the knowledge or skills to perform those activities. So that’s one reason that you need personal development.

The reason for that is you need to upgrade your knowledge and skills to keep up with the current challenges. And you will find that most of the professions, for example, the surveying profession, RICS is mandatory to have continuing professional development. So all qualified surveyors have to demonstrate that they continually upgrade their skills. So that’s the first reason that you need professional development or personal development, in order to upgrade your skills.

The second reason that you need personal development is, I guess one of the reasons you’re doing what you’re doing is to be more than average and to be more than average. What you want to do is possibly increase your earnings. So what are the ways that you can increase your earnings?

First, possibly in order to get more, you need to produce more. So how do you produce more. Find ways of becoming more efficient in other way to be more productive. You produce more, you sell more, you and earn more. So that’s the equation. So as you’re becoming more efficient, you produce more. So in order to be more efficient or to produce more, you need to pick up some skills that allow you to be more efficient.

The other thing that is important or another way that you can earn more. Is to add more value. How do you add more value by producing more quality to work? So again, in order to come up with a situation where you’re producing more quality. You have to acquire some new skills that we allow you to be more efficient and to produce more quality work, so that’s the second. The second reason that you need professional development or personal development because you want to be more productive. So that you can add more.

The other reason that you need personal development. Is that you have to know where you’re going. You have to be able to set some goals and when you are going to achieve those goals. So we also go in the area of goal setting, which is another item that you can add on to, at least. as part of your personal development.

Let’s summarize the areas that we have talked about where you can perform some personal development that will benefit you. We talked about upgrading your skills, which was the first thing that you can engage in in terms of personal development. The second item we mentioned was the how to earn more, how to earn more?

In order to earn more, what you need to be doing it to be more productive and how do you become more productive? You have to find efficient ways of doing things to produce more or produce more quality work. So this is where you learn about productivity. And then the third reason why you have to do personal development is about how to set some goals that can allow you to have a beacon that you focus on and how to achieve those goals. Those are the three areas we can concentrate on in terms of personal development.
